The Russian Summer Ball is one of the major events of the London Season - an amazing evening of glamour, tradition and wonderful company. The 16th Russian Summer Ball will be held in London's historical and exclusive venue the Banqueting House, Whitehall Palace on 11 June 2011.


The Guests of Honour will be: Their Highnesses Prince and Princess Dimitri of Russia, Her Highness Princess Olga of Russia, His Highness Prince Rostislav of Russia and His Excellency the Ambassador of the Russian Federation Mr Alexander Yakovenko.


Funds will once again go to the Romanov Fund for Russia. An Ivan the Terrible Vodka and Champagne Reception, a three course dinner, a live auction conducted by Mr Hugh Edmeades, International Director for Auctioneering, Christies, a silent auction run by the Broad Gallery, an after dinner Ivan the Terrible Vodka and Champagne Reception dancing to the Coldstream Guards and Cabaret Russe, Sabrage, breakfast and carriages at 3.30am.


PROGRAMME

7.15-7.45 Champagne and Ivan the Terrible Vodka reception
8.00-10.00 Three course dinner with wines.
During the dinner there will be toasts and an auction conducted by Hugh Edmeades
9:30-10:00 after dinner guests Champagne and Ivan the Terrible Vodka reception
  • Ballroom Dancing to the Coldstream Guards
  • Sabrage
  • A Grand Raffle
  • Breakfast canapes served at 1.30am
  • Cabaret Russe Russian Gypsy Band
  • Complimentary drinks all night!

Dress: STRICTLY White Tie & Decorations or Black Tie

 

All ticket applications are subject to committee approval.

 

There are a limited number of tickets available. Please contact organizers at as soon as possible to avoid any disappointment.

 

Ballroom dancing practices take place at St Joseph Hall, Brompton Oratory.
Places are limited to 70 and are very popular so come early!
Thursday 2nd June and Tuesday 7th June £12 to include refreshments
